Animal - Baby elephant

Baby elephants are still quite clumsy after birth and must first learn how to handle their trunks. They still can't feed on them, so nurse them from their mother for the first year. In the process, they gain a good kilo every day. It is very important that they grow quickly, because a lion or crocodile can hardly harm healthy adult animals. If a predator approaches dangerously, the adults will circle around the young. They are well protected in the middle.
