As in nature, the young orca is recognized by its black and white colors.
The killer whale also bears the name of killer whale because of its dorsal fin which resembles a sword. Thanks to their distinct colors, orcas are easily recognized compared to other whales: while the back is jet black, the belly is covered with a bright white. Only a few months after their birth, the young already begin to hunt fish, marine mammals and sea birds.
