The giant turtle has a large dome-shaped shell. In the wild, its size can reach between 100 and 120 cm.

The weight of these giant turtles can be over 400 kg. They have very short but powerful legs with which they search for fresh grasses. These reptiles can reach an impressive age and in the wild are often over 100 years old.
